As ozone machine provider, I learnt that chemical structure of ozone is highly reactive, which is why it is such a powerful sterilizer.
When we use ozone, it comes into contact with the bacteria's cell wall, the cell wall is vital to the bacteria because it ensures the organism can maintain its shape. As ozone molecules make contact with the cell wall, a reaction called an oxidative burst occurs which literally creates a tiny hole in the cell wall.
A newly created hole in the cell wall has injured the bacterium, the bacterium begins to lose its shape while ozone molecules continue creating holes in the cell wall, after thousands of ozone collisions over only a few seconds, the bacterial wall can no longer maintain its shape and the cell dies.

1, it is ozone harmful for us? it is save to use ozone?

Yes, it is no doubt! Although we don't breath ozone direactly, it smells bad and might hurt our nose and lung, so we suggest every leave the room when ozone sterilizer works; However ozoen revert itself back to oxygen after sterilization, so unlike the other disinfectant, no need to worry about the safty issue on ozone.

2,where can ozone be used in?
Ozone can be used for air purifying and water treatment, so it can be use almost everywhere, however you might consult us for more details to meet different standard for different application!

3.Which one do a better job in sterilization and disinfection,  ozone or ultraviolet ray
    UV can kill bacteria within 20 minutes to 1 hour, and has a positive effectiveness, however Ultravoilet ray can only be effective to those which can be reach by its straight light.
    Ozone can be destructive to bacteria as much as Ultravoilet ray,  but as air ozone can reach to every spot and space in your place, so ozone can sterilize and disinfect any hidden place while Ultravoilet can't!
