Description

ATMP (similar to Dequest 2000) is a kind of organic methylenephosphonic acid, a part of scale and corrosion inhibitor, ATMP can be mixed with water by any proportion, stable chemical properties. ATMP  belongs to hazardous article Class 8.1. ATMP has good complexation for bivalent metal ions; ATMP shows good scale & corrosion inhibition performance and shows the ideal synergistic effect when compound used with zinc ions.

The solid state of ATMP is crystal powder, soluble in water, easily deliquescence, suitable for usage in winter and freezing districts because of its high purity. ATMP can be used as cleaning agent in electronic fields and as additives in daily chemicals, ATMP also can be used as chelating agent in woven & dyeing industries and as metal surface treatment agent.

Character and Advantage

ATMP can chelate with Fe, Cu, and Zn ions to form stable chelating compounds. ATMP can dissolve the oxidized materials on these metals’ surfaces. ATMP is hard to be hydrolyzed, and hard to be decomposed under ordinary light and heat conditions. ATMP has excellent chelation, low threshold inhibition and lattice distortion ability. It can prevent scale formation, calcium carbonate in particular, in water system. Therefore, ATMP has good antiscale and visible threshold effects.

1)      Oilfield reinjection water system: as scale and corrosion inhibitor.

2)      Electronic chemicals industry: as cleaning agent.

3)      Electroplating industry: as non-cyanide complexing agent.

4)      Circulating cool water system: as scale and corrosion inhibitor.

Woven & dyeing industries: as chelating agent & oxygen bleaching stabilizer.

Package and Storage Recommendation

1)      ATMP liquid: Normally in 200L drum or IBC (1000L) can be used as required.

2)      ATMP solid: 25Kg inner liner polyethylene (PE) bag, outer plastic woven bag or 1000L jumbo bag can be used as required.

3)      Storage for 24 months in room shady and dry place.
