Calcium nitrate tetrahydrate is a white columnar shape crystal of monoclinic system. A crystallographic form. Specific Density: 1.895, It decomposes at 132° C.

The product is apt to dissolve in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone. Not dissolve in nitric acid.

Calcium nitrate used as dry cultivation, pollution-free cultivation of vegetables, fruits and flowers on agriculture, 

Calcium nitrate  also can as acidic soils used for agriculture available fertilizer, used rubber emulsion flocculant industry and cement hardening accelerator.

Calcium nitrate is mainly used refrigerants, industrial rubber coagulant, also used in the manufacture of fireworks, tubes, available fertilizers.
