Tebuconazole is a fungicidal compound that is taken up by plants and transported acropetally within the tissue. It can be used for seed-dressing and as a foliar spray. As a spray, tebuconazole controls numerous pathogens in various crops. Regardless of the route of absorption (leaf, root) tebuconazole is distributed relatively slowly but consistently. The active substance has only a slight tendency to accumulate in the tips of the leaves, meaning it is uniformly distributed in the tissue of the treated plants, or plant parts.
