- Moisture Content must not above 0.05% - MUST REQUIRES EVERY ORDER
- Free Fatty Acid (FFA) must not above Maximum of 0.50% - MUST REQUIRES EVERY 2ND ORDERS OR EVERY 2 MONTHS
- Peroxide Value must not above 2 meq/kg. - MUST REQUIRES EVERY 3RD ORDER OR EVERY 3 MONTHS
- Heavy Metals of Iron (FE) must not above 3mg/kg. - MUST REQUIRES EVERY 4TH ORDER OR EVERY 4 MONTHS.
- Has nice coco-nutty flavor and sweet aroma without traces of rancidity, has no traces of sourness, has no traces of burned & toasted taste and no off taste & odor.
- Must smooth to swallow without itchy on your throat.
- Avoid VCO with very fine sediments accumulated and shown on the bottom part of jar. If sediment is not yet shown, just refrigerate the glass jar of VCO until solidify, then dip the jar into hot water or place the jar in the warm area and let it liquefy then check if there are sediments accumulated on the bottom part of glass jar.
- Avoid VCO with color such as slight brown, orange, green color that shown on the bottom because they are molds & bacteria.
- Avoid VCO with yellowish color and its surely under go high heat or mixed with RBD Cooking Oil.
- Only buy VCO that packed in clear transparent packaging so that you can see if VCO has problem inside.
- Avoid VCO where metal cap is not vacuum and easy to open, because metal cap is surely loosen where moisture able to comes inside the jar and the VCO might be rancid already or rotten.
- Customers must require Laboratory Test as stated above, and it must be from 3rd Parties like Philippine Coconut Authority or Intertek Laboratory, but not from Processors Owned Laboratory! The laboratory test must be required before the shipment, especially from new supplier. In Addition, Customers can also do a laboratory test upon arrival to the port destination or before distributing to the market place to make sure that the products are safe for human consumption.
