Seabuckthorn is a collective name for the plant and its fruit. Belonging to Elaeagnaceae Hippophae, it is a deciduous shrub with characteristics such as drought tolerance, anti-sandstorm, and the ability to survive salinized land, so it is widely used for soil and water conservation. It is distributed in the north, northwest, southwest and other places of China. Seabuckthorn is a medicinal and edible plant.
