Founded in July 2014, Gansu Alkog Sea-buckthorn Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. lies in Zhang County Industrial Park covering an area of 13500 m2. In northern Shaanxi where the base is, the climate and soil are very suitable for growing seabuckthorn, which tends to yield high-quality fruits that are big, plum, natural, green and pollution-free. - Product description
For seabuckthorn, one of the most valuable parts of it is its oil, which contains 206 kinds of active substances beneficial to humans, including 46 kinds of biologically active substances. The oil also has large amounts of vitamin E, vitamin A and flavonoids. Relevant therapeutic effects are being anti-fatigue and anticancer plus energetic; protecting and accelerating the repair of gastric mucosa, enhancing the potency of intestinal bifidobacteria, lowering cholesterol in plasma and blood vessel wall; preventing and treating hyperlipidemia and atherosclerotic sclerosis, and heling wound heal.
The fruit contains 7 flavonoids, e.g. isorhamnetin and its glycoside, quercetin, kaempferol and so forth with relevant effects in treating cough, asthma. It is, expectorant, dilating coronary vessels, reducing cholesterol, and is commonly used in the treatment of ischemic heart disease with the effective rate of 94% for angina pectoris.
