Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >5000 mg/kg. Not a skin or eye irritant (rabbits). Not a skin sensitizer. LC50 for male rats >4.77 mg/l.

Application

6-Benzylaminopurine (6-ba) is a broad- spectrum plant growth regulator. 

It can accelerate growth of cell. 

When used with gibberellins, fruit's shape can be improved. 

6-Benzylaminopurine stimulates the following effects: 

1.cell division; lateral bud emergence(apples, oranges); 

2.basal shoot formation (roses, orchids); 

3.flowering (cyclamen, cacti);

4.fruit set (grapes, oranges, melons)

5.anti-aging, fresh-keeping: cabbage, melon crop, leechee
