The ingredients come from vegetables which, although edible, have been discarded due to being deemed as non-standard, or were cut during delivery, and wastefully categorized as garbage, as well as the rice wax which is generated as waste during the process of making rice bran.

These products are manufactured at a factory with 60 years of history, partially made by hand by crayon craftsmen. Because these materials are difficult to handle using fully automated machinery, these crayons are made by hand by expert craftsmen.

These products are made with vegetables and rice wax which, although edible, are wastefully treated as garbage, using pigments that utilize the same components as food coloring products, and therefore are safe and secure, even in the event that a child were to place them in his or her mouth while drawing alone.
