Vietnam is the best source of Groundnut kernel in Asean region. The government has established main growing regions in Phu Tho, Nghe An provinces, Da Nang, Binh Duong. Peanut from the Centre and the South of Vietnam is rather good at its sight but peanut from the North is preferred because of its better quality. Groundnut tree grown all over the country, but mainly gather northern delta provinces such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho…  Yearly output is approximately 100.000 MT.
