Kitayama Japanese Cedar as a base and drawing in the Yuzen style,

a striking new sculpture has been created. Tradition multiplied.

 

Affixing color to the bark of the Kitayama Cedar without destroying its natural gloss is a difficult procedure. Only the most experienced designers at Kyo Yuzen create the final pieces.
