• It  is a new highly productive striped hybrid watermelon of Vietgro.
• Plants produce oval shaped fruits weighing 3-4 kg each.
• The attractive fruits of VGW04 Vietgro have a light green color with green stripes.
• The flesh color is deep red, sweet, very compact and juicy.
• It  displays good resistance/tolerance to Fusarium wilt race 1-2.
• Its maturity is about 65-70 days after planting.

Cultivation techniques

1. Germination/ sprouting and raise seedling management must be careful.
2. Less nitrogen fertilizer, multi-applied potassium fertilization and calcium fertilizers, or affect the quality of melons.
3. No watering in one week period before harvesting.
