A4 and A3 paper

Paper is a thin material produced by pressing together moist fibres of cellulose pulp derived from wood, rags or grasses, and drying them into flexible sheets. It is a versatile material with many uses, including writing, printing, packaging, cleaning, and a number of industrial and construction processes.

Types

A grade

This is the best quality paper of premium class.

CIE whiteness: 165. 

Usage: any black and white and color printers, laser-beam and jet printers at any printing rates. Not appropriate for photo and printing and photo copying.

B grade

This is a copy paper of better quality. CIE whiteness: 160. Usage: black and white copiers and printers with printing speed up to 180 pages per minute with perfecting. B grade paper is also good for mono-CF on jet printers. 

C grade

This is budget choice of paper that is meant to be used for high quality printing and copying. 

CIE whiteness: 145. 

It is used for black and white copiers and printers with printing rate up to 35 pages per minute with one-side printing. This type of paper is not appropriate for color copiers, printers and jet printers.

Features

Quality of paper is defined by the complex of the following features: whiteness, density, quality of cut, thickness, stiffness, conductivity, surface condition. 
There is a great variety of paper types on Russian market depending on the demand. 

The most common format of paper is A4 210mm*297mm, A3 is 420mm*297mm.

Paper density is its mass per unit volume. The density can be calculated by dividing the grammage of paper by its caliper. The standard density of copy paper is 80 g per square metre which is appropriate for any copiers and printers.

Whiteness is the degree to which a surface is white. This characteristic is very important for buyer, especially when buyer wants to show its image and prestige.

It is a well-known fact that paper is made of paper pulp. Natural color of paper is defined by fresh cut of wood. To reach the best whiteness factories use sophisticated technologies of chemical bleach with chlorine and physical bleach with chalk addition. The highest CIE whiteness can be up to 98%. Color of paper mainly depends on the illumination.
