Pain Free of ipl shr e-light:

SHR is the only pain free method of laser hair removal. SHR works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicle and prevents regrowth, while not injuring surrounding tissue. SHR combines high average power, low fluence, and a high repetition rate; gradually increasing the temperature of the hair follicle by stacking the laser pulses.

Pulsed Stacking of ipl shr e-light:

SHR technology employs low fluence, high average power, with super fast pulses; generally lasting no longer than 20 microseconds. SHR does not target melanin as the principle target chromophore. Instead, SHR focuses on progressively raising the temperature of the subdermal layer of the skin, via a pulsed stacking method. SHR raises and maintains the temperature to 45°C, trapping the heat for prolonged time and thereby deactivating the surrounding biological markers (e.g., stem cells and enzymes) for permanent hair reduction.

How is it True Pain Free?

There are a few reasons:

The SHR uses IN-Motion technology, which is a rolling technique that scans the area and eliminates 

the common problemof missed or skipped spots during the process. Thus making it a faster, more 

effective, comprehensive hair removaltechnology without pain or skin damage.The SHR handpiece is 

cooled down to an average of -9 °C (-22.77 °F) thus keepingthe area cooled while the scanning.

In contrast to other technologies that use one pulse per second, the SHR uses an astonishin

g ten pulses per second. In contrast to the IPL that uses 40-100 J.U.L per pulse, and the Laser that uses 

50 – 70 J.U.L per pulse; the SHR requires only up to 7 J.U.L per pulse but it delivers 10 pulses a second. SHR gradualheating treatments are virtually pain-free and comfortable. Many even compare the 

SHR sessions to having  a “hot-stone massage.”

How many Treatments are Required?

This depends on the area being treated and it can be influenced by hair colour, age and hormones. 

However, usually 4 – 6treatments are required for long-lasting hair removal. Since hair growth cycles are 

not synchronize –several treatment sessions are needed to also treat dormant follicles, and within a few 

treatments, the SHR leaves beautifully bare skin.

How Long does the Treatment Take?
