Principle of ND yag laser tattoo removal equipment

The energy of Q-switched ND: YAG laser can be absorbed by the blue and black melanin. The melanin will be fragmented so small that they can be metabolized by the lymphatic system or egested out of body. How Laser Tattoo Removal works?
Unlike previous methods that involved painful dermabrasion (scraping off the top layer of skin), cryosurgery (freezing the skin then peeling away layers of the tattoo) or excision (cutting the tattoo out), the process is completely non-abrasive and won’t cause scarring.
