808nm diode laser machine is particularly effective to hair follicle melanocytes without injury surrounding tissue. The laser light can be absorbed by hair shaft and hair follicles in the melanin,

and converted into heat, thus increasing the hair follicle temperature. When the temperature

raises high enough to irreversibly damage the hair follicle structure, which disappear after a

period of natural physiological processes of hair follicles and thus achieve the purpose of

permanent hair removal.

Hair life circle is divided into 3 phases, Anagen,Catagen and Telogen. Anagen is the

best time for destroying root of hair. Hair in Catagen and Telogen phases can’t be

completely destroyed because laser can’t act on their root effectively. So to remove

Post-treatment care:

1. No exposure to sunlight.

 Clients should protect the treated area from exposure to sunlight, sunbed or other

artificial tanning for one month after treatment. Tanning after treatment sessions

may enhance melanin regeneration, which may result in hyper-pigmentation

2. Free from always touching and pressing.

 Clients must do not press and scratch the treated area against infection.

3. Makeup.

 Makeup immediately after the treatment is not allowed for better curative-effect,

advising no makeup for four to five days after treatment. The skin is sensitive during

this period. Remove the makeup when swelling and reddening appearing at the treated

site against infection and pigmentation. Meanwhile, it is suggested to take some

medicine such as VitC, VitE.

4. Food.

 Advising not eat the hot and spicy food. 

During the initial stages, you will feel a light stinging sensation, which indicates that the

laser has been activated. Then a series of impulses are produced and may cause a slight

burning sensation and some prickling. Your technician may apply a topical anaesthetic

to the body area under treatment, in order to minimize the discomfort. But most people

do not need the anaesthetic. Some people have said that the feeling is like that of a

rubber band snapping against the skin.
