HIFUShape works by emitting acoustic waves of ultrasound energy. This focused ultrasound targets only subcutaneous fat at a controlled depth. The fat destruction occurs instantly, selectively, and mechanically, with essentially no change in temperature. Since there is minimal heat generated, the treatment is comfortable and not painful for the patient. The treatment is completely non-invasive and does not involve any surgery, injections, or incisions.
The HIFUShape procedure is based on a natural fat clearance process. This involves processing the triglycerides from the destroyed fat cells through the body’s natural physiological and metabolic pathways. Clinical results have shown that after three treatments, patients see an average of a 4 cm reduction in circumference. Three treatments are recommended to achieve maximum results.
