Technical Principle of E-light:  

E-Light(IPL and RF)combines three advanced technologies: Bipolar Radio Frequency + IPL +Skin Contact Cooling. When the three are united in one treatment, wonderful treatment experience and result can be expected. The energy of Radio Frequency can reach the middle and deep layer of the skin and heat up tissue, thus, lower energy is applied during the IPL treatment. Q1: Does it hurt?

No local anaesthetics are needed. Sense of pain is very individual, but the wrinkle reduction procedure is based on a chemical reaction in the skin rather than a thermal reaction in the skin. Therefore no heating of the skin is required and as such there is no pain involved.

Q2: Are there any specific pre and post treatment care required?

The clinic will normally recommend you to use and Intense by Exfoliating Gel (or similar) for at least two weeks prior to the wrinkle reduction treatment. The purpose of the Exfoliating Gel is to remove dead skin cells. This allows the light to penetrate the skin surface more effectively.

Q3: How many treatments do I need?

Clinical studies have confirmed that 3 treatments with 3 weeks interval give the optimal results. The wrinkle reduction gradually takes place from 1 up to 12 months after treatment, since collagen production is a slow process.

Q4: What can I expect?

Up to 95% of fine lines, wrinkles and furrows can be improved but results vary from patient to patient. There is also an improvement in overall skin texture and tone and a more rested appearance
