Usage: 

This 7-Day Programmable Digital timer switch can be used to control electric hot water heating, resisitive electric heating systems, or high current lighting systems such as metal halide or sodium lighting. These timers are very popular for use with hydroponics grow lights where the 30 amp rating of this timer switch can make it suitable as a contactor relay.

For lighting applications, this timer switch can power 2x 600w hps, 4 x 400w hps or 7 x 250w hps, or 8 x 250w cfl lights

Unlike most conventional timers this Sinotimer timer is designed to handle the inductive load generated by HID/ Metal Halide or Sodium lamps. Cheaper timers with only 10A ratings will stick either on or off as the tiny contacts inside them weld together under the high inrush/ start up current created by HID, HPS or metal halide lamps.
