Rated at MERV 15, replacement cartridge dust collector filters with our ProTura Advanced Nanofiber technology are up to 95% efficient on 0.3 to 1.0 micron size dust. These filters have a surface treatment of the finest synthetic nanofibers used in any current filtration product . Exceptionally small in size, these fibers are about 50% finer than the “other” nanofiber filtration technology, are more durable, with better moisture and temperature resistance and stronger adhesion to the media substrate.
Independently proven to achieve higher initial efficiency, cleaner air, lower pressure drop and greater energy savings than commodity filter media, our proprietary ProTura Nanofiber is the standard technology that we equip all of our cartridge dust collectors with. The Value is the nanofiber-not the substrate
ProTura nanofiber acts as a shield to prevent submicron particles from entering and becoming embeded within the filter's substrate media. As a resulet, pressure does not build up as rapidly and power requirements are dramatically redced.
Ordinary nanofiber filters require the use of synthetic materials to attain the efficiency level of ProTura nanofiber filters. These materials make the filter more expensive and more restrictive to airflow, leading to an increase in pressure. Ordinary nanofiber cartridge filters may achieve the same MERV rating as ProTura filters, but they provide far less media( more than 50% less), reduced air flow capacity, shorter filter life and a premium price tag.
