Aluminum powder is used in the production of many types of explosives and firecrackers. 

Particle size is an important property affecting burn rate.  

It burns very brightly when combined with oxidizers, and high active aluminum powders are known to deflagrate rapidly.

Other Interesting Uses:

a. Aluminum Powder + Metal Oxide = Burn brilliantly and release a tremendous amount of energy in a very short period of time.

b. Aluminum Powder + Potassium Perchlorate = Produce a bang and a flash. 

c. Aluminum Powder + Iron Oxide Powder = Form Thermite.

  Produce a tremendous of heat, which is useful in many industrial processes.

Age Conditions: 

Ideal storage conditions for aluminum paste are in the original closed drum at a room temperature of 25°C. 

If stored incorrectly, the solvent can evaporate. If the drum is opened, it should be carefully closed after use. 

We suggest that best to use all that contents of a drum at once. 

Aluminum Paste Leafing - 12 months

Aluminum Paste Non-leafing - 10 months

Aluminum Powder Paste used in AAC / NAC bricks:

GLS: 6 months   GLY: 12 months

Aluminum Powder - 12 months

It should be kept in its tightly closed orginal containers.
