Introduction:
When vocalists and presenters sing or say words containing the letters 'P' and 'B',they expel a rush of  air which can cause the microphone diaphragm to 'pop'. this 'pop' is subsequently heard as a 'thump' on the finished recording or broadcast.
This pop shield is designed to dissipate the energy produced by this rush of air. for optimum results,the pop shield should be positioned midway between the vocalist and the microphone (typically 10 to 15cm from each)
