Brief
CTL dry drum magnetic separator is a developed new separating way for dry powder magnetic minerals, such as iron ore,iron sand and mill scales ect. It can be widely in metallurgical, steel works,mines and other industries.
Feature
With years of experience in magnetic concentration and separation,MAS Baiyun company provides a complete line of equipment to efficiently handle a wide variety of ore processing operations. These heavy duty dry drum separators are powered by permanent magnets either ceramic or rare earth magnets. The strength and depth of the magnetic field is controlled by the design of the poles and pole pieces, the size and number of the magnets, and the arc covered by the magnet assembly.
This kind of magnetic separator is characterized by a multiple magnetic field and high separation frequency. It is very suitable for the districts that are short of water and electricity,because it is dry magnetic separator and can be drived by diesel engine.
The material to be separated is fed at the top of the rotating drum surface, the non-magnetic fraction leaves the drum, while the magnetic fraction is retained by the magnetic force at the drum surface until carried outside the effective magnetic field. By selecting of the proper separator configuration and operating conditions, various products can be obtained which may be acceptable as final tailings, as final concentrate or as middlings requiring grinding and separation. Dry separators allow a better control over the grade of the products as compared with wet separators.

User Manual
1.Equipment Installation
(1)The equipment can be installed on the working platform horizontally
(2)After finishing installation, equipment must operating without feeding for 3-4hours to inspect abnormal conditions,including gear-box, engine and bearings whose temperature is less than 30°C, and then can operate with feeding.
(3)Forbid contaminations, especially bulk iron ore to make the drum stuck, or damage the wearable rubber layer on the surface of the drum.
(4)Often check gear-box and engine to find abnormal conditions, and resolve them.
2.Start
Before driving motor start, do not feed in the material to the machine,after the
motor rotation safety,may give the material into the machine.Please note as follows:
(1)check the full machine ,be sure can easy to start to rotation.
(2)Check the surface of Drum and around have no any minerals.
(3)Check all parts lubricating oil, including gear-box and bearings
(4)Be sure the power is by your require.
3.Lubrication system
(1)Rolling bearings need lubricating with petro grease once two month at least and change once 6-12 months completely.
(2)Often check the oil note of the gear-box, If oil is below oil level line, should be added and change it once a year or so
4.Operation
(1)Switch on the driving motor(DRUM ON), and watch the drum rotation’ way,be sure the rotation way same as maked in the machine.If not same, change the powder line.
(2)When the rotate is OK ,give the material to the feed fox. Switch on the vibrating motor, slow to begin to feed the material particle.
(3)Begin to the magnetic separator.(produce)
5.Stop
(1) first,stop to feed the material. Before stop the driving motor, the drum surface should not have any materials.
(2)stop to feed the material.
(3)When the feed box have no materials, stop the vibrating motor.
(4)When the drum of magnetic separator have NO anything material, switch off the driving motor(DRUM OFF)
(5)Switch off the power
(6)Clean the around the machine.
