PORT-HAND BUOYS

Description:

Port-hand buoys are green in color and mark a danger or the left-hand side of a channel (when facing upstream). When traveling upstream, a port-hand buoy should always be kept on the port side of the vessel. Port-hand buoys are 

flat on top.

Feature:

1. A port-hand buoy's top-mark is a single green cylinder.

2. If equipped with a light, it is green in color and operates on either a (F1) 4s flash cycle

3. (Q) 1s quick-flash pattern (single flashes 1 second apart).

4. This buoy is identified by letters and odd-digit numbers.

Material: ULTRA-HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT ≥25,000,000, with Closed Cell Polyethylene Foam inside

2.Higher Impact Resistance:

  a. The  material has higher flexibility and hardness, when impacted, it will not deform.

  b. There is steel skeleton inside the floating body, with the pouring density of Polyurethane 

foam ≥46kg/m³ and it plays a powerful support to the floating body.

3. Long Life

   a. With high chemical stability and high anti corrosion, the buoy will not

decompose for decades in the seawater, meanwhile, it will not pollute the water.

   b. The floating body and tail pipe are very resistant to outdoor ultraviolet radiation. 

It will not be aging for decades and the mechanical properties will not change.
