2. Features of the Plant
The plant will be designed strictly in accordance with the China National Current Standards, industry standards and company standards and optimized for design data to meet the operating conditions required by the customer, with a adjustable range +5% ~ -20% of the load.
2.1 Multi-stage and centrifugal air compressor with high efficiency, stable and reliable operation shall be adopted.
2.2 The refrigeration unit has the good features of changeable load, easy operation and high efficiency.
2.3 The power consumption for regeneration of molecular sieve will be reduced one third since a pre-heater is added before air going into direct contact aftercooler.
2.4 By adopting proprietary technology of molecular sieve adsorbing bed and 13x-APG molecular sieve, the CO2 content of cleaned air is less than 1 PPm
2.5 When the adsorbers are switched over, air outlet pressure of molecular sieve adsorbers is interlocked with the inlet guide vane of air compressor for ensuring the stable pressure to the column.
2.6 By adopting the rectifying column system designed and calculated by ASPEN software and high efficient circular flow sieve tray column, the oxygen extraction rates are largely increased.
2.7 The main heat exchanger is of a unit-type which are properly matched so as to have a smaller temperature difference at the hot side and less cold losses. Meanwhile, the two streams in the middle part and at the cold side of the main heat exchanger are properly matched in proportion to flexibly adjust the temperature before the expansion turbine for meeting the operating conditions at different stages of start-up, run and normal operation.
2.8 The booster expansion turbine which may be disassembled outside the cold box is designed by NREC software of USA, and machined by imported five-axis digital control miller, the which is subjected to unloaded test run and inspection before delivery has a high efficiency of more than 85% and a flowrate adjustment range ±2%.
2.9 The proprietary anti-explosive evaporator-condenser is adopted for ensuring a lasting and safe operation of the plant.
2.10 The regular packing are used in the upper column so as to have a smaller pressure of feed air compressor, less power consumption, and a higher oxygen extraction rates.
2.11 The distributed DCS control system with high automation and easy operation shall be adopted.
