Solar energy electricity generation system is consisted of solar energy piles, solar energy controller and accumulator (group). It is necessary to collocate reverse change set if the output power is 220v or 110v alternating current. The function of each part is as follows:
1. Solar energy panels:
Solar cell panel is core component of solar energy electricity generation system as well as the highest value. Its function is to convert solar radiation to electricity energy, or store to accumulator, or promote load. The quality and cost of solar energy panel will directly determine the quality and cost of whole system.
2. Solar energy controller:
The function of solar energy controller is to control whole system working status and prevent overcharge and overdischarge. In the condition of large temperature difference, the controller should have qualified temperature compensation function. Other additional functions such as optical switches, time-controlled switches should be optional component of solar energy controller.
3. Accumulator:
Generally uses lead-acid batteries, in small or micro system, also uses nickel-hydrogen batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries or lithium batteries. Its function is to store electricity energy from solar energy cell panel under sunlight and discharge according to the needs.
4. Reverse change set: :
Alternate power of 200VAC and 110VA is used in many situations. However, direct output power of solar energy is 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VCD. To supply electricity for components of 220VAC, we should convert positive current to alternating current with DC-AC reverse change set. Sometimes we also should use DC-DC reverse change set to get multi-power load, such as converting 24VDC electrical energy to 5VDC electrical energy(Notice: It's different from simply decrease voltage. )
We need think about the factors of designing solar energy electricity generation system as follows:
*Where is solar energy electricity generation system applied? How about the solar radiation in the area?
*How much is load power of the system?
*How much is output voltage of the system? Positive current or alternating current?
*How many hours worked the system everyday?
*How many days supplied the system continuously in overcast and rainy days?
