1.Duplex Service Drop
(1)Application
Primarily used for 120volt overhead service application such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporary service for construction. To be used at voltages of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene(XLP) insulated conductors.
(2)Construction
Concentric strand or compressed 1350-H19 conductor, polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene insulation, concentric strand AAC, ACSR, or 6201 alloy neutral messenger.
2. Triplex Service Drop
(1)Application
Used to supply power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer,to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made.To be used at voltage of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene(XLP) insulated conductors.
(2)Construction
Concentric strand or compressed 1350-H19 conductor, polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene insulation, concentric strand AAC, ACSR, or 6201 alloy neutral messenger.
3. Quadruplex Service Drop
(1)Application
Used to supply 3-phase power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer,to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made.To be used at voltage of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed 75 for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 for crosslinked polyethylene(XLP) insulated conductors.
(2)Construction
Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminium. Insulted with either polyethylene or XLPE crosslinked polyethylene . Neutral messenger are concentrically strand AAC, ACSR, or 6201 alloy . One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.
