Please read this instruction manual carefully to user before using this zoom lens in order to avoid any mistakes as follows:
NOTES:
Carefully make sure that all the parts connects correct before which is supplied the electricity to lenses.
It may be cause a fire or short circuit when pulling or distorting the cable, please clench the connection terminal if you dismantle or install the lens cable.
In case, if you focus the sun's rays on lens, it will causing a fire, so Please do not use this lens under the sun.
CAUTION:
1) Do not use this lens in an environment on strong vibration, because this lens belongs to Precision optical product.
2) The glasses of lens may be fogging up when this lens in an environment on high temperature and
damp. Please do not used in a worst environment temperature when using this lens.
In order to this lens for easy storage, do not use this lens in an environment that includes that
high temperatures, humidity, corrosive gas and high salinity.
CABLE INSTRUCTIONS:
Iris (auto): iris can be plug in the electric directly when using it.
1) Control: Auto (DC)
2) Coil resistance: Drive 190Ω±10%; Brake 500Ω±10%

Coil positive electrode side.) (RED: INPUT VOLTAGE; BLACK: GROUND; WHITE: VIDEO SIGNAL; GREEN: REMOTE CONTROL)
Zoom:WHITE lineis for ZOOM IN; andRED lineis for ZOOM OUT. Voltage: DC6~12V (optimum operating voltage: DC9V)
Focus:BLACK lineis for FOCUS NEAR; andYELLOW lineis for FOCUS FAR. Voltage: DC6~12V (optimum operating voltage: DC9V)
PS: two negative poles can be fixed together to control the common interfaces of equipment, such as: decoder and lens controller etc.
INSTALLATION:
1. Iris operation
The camera body an aloneback-shaped plug directly inserted in the camera's auto-iris power connector. Auto Iris found the supply voltage can be adjusted on the camera when the lens aperture to change insensitive.
2. Lens debugging
1) The threaded portion of the lens is mounted to the threaded portion of the camera, slowly clockwise, then tighten.
(Note: The lens mount is equipped with a slip mechanism. In order to change the lens position, further rotate the lens clockwise by force. If the lens hit the stopper means can not be rotated, and then slowly rotate counterclockwise until the desired position.)
2) Set focus so far, and zoom out (wide) on the object.
3) By turning the zoom control line (white and red line) to adjust the angle, the image becomes maximum angle. (Low power: 6mm). (PS: Adjust camera's back-focus to obtain a clear picture)
4) By turning the zoom control line (white and red line) to adjust the angle, the image becomes shortest angle. (High power: 60mm).
By turning the focus control line (black and yellow line) to adjust images, the picture becomes clarity.
6) The installation will be complete when repeat the step as above from 3) to 5).
3. Maintenance
To avoid reflect more light in, the surface of lens are adopt by professional optical coating technology. If the surface of lens is dirty, for example, dust, oil and fingerprint which will cause performance degradation, mildewed, fading or were flaring the lens.
How to clear the dust for surface of lens:
*It is use the oil free soft-brush or air-brush (which is used by photography) to clear debris and dust.
2) How to clear the oil for surface of lens:
*It is use the soft cloth to clear water and oil and drying at same time.
AUTO IRIS LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
ALC Adjustment
Adjust photometry using the ALC variable register on the lens body. Turn the screw toward the "P"position for peak photometry (according to lighting) or the "A" for average photometry.

Q2: What is Focal Length & Depth of Field & Filed of View?
A2: Focal lenght is the distance over which initially collimated rays are brought to a focus. Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scence that appear acceptably. In the optical instruments, by the lens of the optical instrument as the vertex, the maximum range of two edge lines which the measured targes's images can shoot through the lens is called the field of view.
Q3: What does Manual Iris Lens and Auto-Iris Lens mean mean?
A3: Manual iris lenses provide an effective solution for applications where the scene and lighting requirements are relatively stable, especially when used with security cameras that are equipped with electronic shutters. Auto iris lenses produce consistent video signals in scenes with varying light levels, thus enabling reliable surveillance in areas that would otherwise be compromised.
Q4:: What is CS mount & C mount?
A4: The flange distance of the CS mount lens is 12.5mm, applying to CS mount camera, but C mount camera. The flange distance of the C mount lens is 17.5mm. The lens to the camera with C mount can also be used for the CS mount camera, jsut add a 5mm lap(adpater ring).
Q5: What is BFL & MBFL?
A5: 1) BFL is the distance between of the vertex of the last glass to sensor;
2) Mechanical BFL is the distance between of the vertex of the mechanical parts to sensor.
Q6: What is the difference of the IR lens and general lens?
A6: 1) At night in infrared light, the focal plance of position of the general lens will change, so that the image becomes blurred and has to be refocused to see clearly;
2) IR lens use special design to reduce chromatic aberrations of the infrared light and visible light, so that the image are focused on the same position. The IR lens are also called night confocal lens and adapted to the market for 24 hours monitoring.
Q7: What is IR-CUT?
A7: IR-CUT dual filters comprise two parts: filter + controller.
In the daytime, the IR-CUT filter switch works, and then the CCD restore the true color. In low light night, the IR-CUT filter automatically removes and the whole spectrum filter works to make full use of the light in CCD, greatly improving the low light performance.
IR-CUT - IR light is filtered, Better Image Color;
No IR-CUT - no IR light is filtered, Image Becomes Red.
Q8: What is P-IRIS?
A8: P-IRIS is a new automatic, aperture controller. Be different with DC-IRIS, the main task of P-IRIS control is not constantly adjusting traffic light passing through the lens. The main purpose of P-IRIS is to set the best iris position to make best use to the most of the center of the lens so that improving the image quality. This position is called the depth value where getting the best use of the lens, optical errors greatly reducing, the best image quality can be obtained(in contrast, resolution and depth of field area). This is the default setting of the IP camera with P-IRIS.
