The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 deems that clothing must be appropriate for the task being carried out. This means that the darker the working conditions or work site, the higher the level of Hi Viz (HV) clothing required. Some workers may only be required to wear partial hivis clothing such as a vest or shirt whilst others may be required to wear it head to toe.

The hi vis shirt comes in flourescent, day-glo yellow, orange and features retroreflective material to make the wearer visible in headlights, poor lighting conditions and darkness. It conforms to EN471 Class 2 and is made from a polyester material, making it comfortable to wear.
