I. Introduction

1.TNZ-3.6, 6, 9 and 12m concentrators are mono-layer center driving concentrators whose tanks are respectively 3.6m, 6m, 9m and 12m in diameter and which are 3.6m in diameter and 1.8m in height. They are mainly used for dehydration treatment of wet concentrate during beneficiation process. This machine is used in the first stage of dehydration process, i.e. concentration. 2.Usually, concentrated products containing 30% to 60% of water can be obtained. Such machine is usually placed between dry concentration equipment and filtration equipment. Sometimes, it is used as plant for dehydration before concentration.

II. Structure and Working Principle of Concentrator

The center driving concentrator is machine composed of open-end cylindrical groove 1. racking 2. vertical axis 3. rake 4. discharge hopper 5. feed port 6. overflow port 7. (9m concentrator will be customized by the users during design of tank) 8. signal device 9. lifting device 10. motor 11. reducing mechanism, etc.

Its power is output by the motor (10) which is transmitted to the vertical axis through the reducing mechanism (11) and drives the gyration of the rake mounted below the vertical axis, so as to serve the purpose of concentration of such machine.

The pulp is fed into the tank of the concentrator through the feed hopper (6) by special-purpose pipe or trough. After concentrated, the pulp flows through the overflow groove above the trough and is discharged to proper place by special-purpose pipe. The concentrated product falls on the bottom of the trough and is scraped by the slowly rotating rake to the discharge hopper in the center of the trough (5), and is then discharged to proper place by the pipe connected with the hopper (5).
