It works with high-pressure sodium lamps (HPS) and Metal Halide Lamps (MH).

The electronic ballasts are the most advanced lighting solution for modern horticulture. Small, compact, these E-Ballasts are able to deliver more lumens while using less electricity than standard magnetic ballasts.

These ballasts are totally silent, energy efficient, reliable and lightweight, and will power all reflectors that utilize double-ended 1000W lamps. It has built-in hot re-strike programming to protect the lamp and ballast in the event of a power outage.
