Clear tarps and clear plastic tarps are widely used as construction hoarding and enclosure, patio enclosure, green room enclosure, curtains where light need to go through the clear tarps. A clear tarp is used whenever there is a need to let lights go through the tarp.

Which clear tarp is stronger, clear vinyl or clear poly?

Among clear plastic tarps, clear vinyl tarps are usually much heavier and stronger than clear poly tarps. We have 20 MIL clear vinyl tarp and 30 MIL clear vinyl tarp, where our clear poly tarp is 7 oz / sq yard.

Which crystal clear vinyl tarp can better withstand extreme cold weather?

30 MIL clear vinyl tarps has outstanding cold weather performance, while 20 MIL clear vinyl tarps have good cold weather performance. In northern US states and Canada, please use 30 MIL Clear Vinyl Tarps instead of the 20 MIL Clear Vinyl Tarps because 30 MIL Clear Vinyl Tarps have better cold weather performance.

Are your clear tarps UV treated?

Yes, our clear tarps are UV resistant. Both our clear vinyl tarps and clear poly tarps have been treated with UV inhabitants. UV treated clear plastic tarps last longer than non-UV treated clear plastic tarps.

Do your clear tarps have smooth polished surface?

Yes, our clear tarps have smooth polished surface on both sides. Particularly, our clear vinyl tarps have ultra smooth polished surface and are crystal clear. Our clear poly is less crystal clear than clear vinyl tarps, but still allows lights to go through.

Which clear tarp should I used for my patio?

You may need the clear vinyl tarps, either the 20 MIL clear vinyl tarp or 30 MIL clear vinyl tarp, because clear vinyl tarps are more wind resistant and tear resistant and are clearer than clear poly tarps.

Which clear tarp is less expensive?

Clear poly tarp is usually less expensive among clear plastic tarps. Clear vinyl tarps are more expensive, but also stronger and more widely used for building and patio enclosures.
