Coupled with the use of special sealing epoxies, and long sealing paths for posts, FirstPower VRLA batteries have exceptional leak resistance, and can be used in any position.

There is no corrosive gas generation during normal use and no need to check the specific gravity of the electrolyte or to add water during the service life.

History
Battery is 1859 by the French Plante (Plante) invention, it has been one hundred years of history. Since the invention of lead-acid batteries, the chemical power has an absolute advantage. This is because of its low cost, readily available raw materials, the use of adequate reliability, suitable for high current discharge and wide range of ambient temperatures and so on.
Plante (G.Plante) in lead-acid batteries in 1859 invention, has experienced nearly 150 years of development, lead-acid batteries in theoretical research, product types and varieties of products and other aspects of electrical performance have been great strides , whether in transportation, communication, power, military or in the marine, aviation across the economy, lead-acid batteries have played an indispensable role.
By the early 20th century, the lead-acid battery has experienced a number of significant improvements to enhance the energy density, cycle life, high rate discharge performance. However, the opening lead-acid battery has two major drawbacks: late charge of water breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen precipitates, often need to add acid, water, heavy maintenance work; gas overflow when carrying mist corrosion around the device, and pollution of the environment, limiting battery applications. The past two decades, in order to solve the above two problems, the world race to develop sealed lead-acid batteries, battery sealed hope to achieve, access to clean green energy.
1912 ThomasEdison published patent proposed in the upper space of the cells using a platinum wire, the current is passed, platinum is heated to become a hydrogen oxidation catalyst together, the precipitated H2 and O2 combined again to return to the electrolyte.
