Note to composters: We think diaper inserts are a pretty good candidate for composting at the end of their useful life (what else would you do with it?). Hemp/cotton fabric and cotton thread will completely biodegrade, although it will take longer than food scraps or paper. As with all substances, cutting up the pad before composting increases the surface area available to microbes and hastens decomposition.

Washing Instructions: Wash in hot or warm water before use, then dry. This will remove most of the natural oils in the fabric to achieve optimal absorbency. When soiled, wash in warm or cold water with like colors. Dry on medium heat. Line drying is fine too but they will not be as soft. To remove stains, hang them in the sun or use peroxide. Fabric softeners and bleach are not recommended
