side mount multi water filter media / sand media filter is made of fiberglass.Top diffuser ensures even distribution of water over the top of the sand bed, air release valve enables easy release of trapped air during operation of the filter, large sand /water drain for rapid of wimterizing or servicing, and materials used are depandable. non corrosive and are suitabel for all-weather preformance.

1. filter-normal filtration

2. backwash-cleaning filter by reversing the flow 

3. rinse-used after backwash to flush dirt from valve

4. waste-by-passes filter, use for vacuuming to waste outlet or lowering water level

5. recirculate-by-passes filter for circulating water to pool

6. closed-shuts off all flow to filter or pool
