The electrolysis process is achieved by passing the salt water solution through an electroytic cell which converts sodium chloride(salt) in the water into chlorine gas which,when dissolved in water become sodium hypochlorite(liquid chlorine)

The SSC's salt cell consists of a series of titanium electrodes with opposite charges. SSC's transparent salt cell housing allows visual inspection of the salt cell plates and enables monitoring of chlorine production
