Application Process

1 st Step.: Preparation Tips before painting.

The surface must be dry and in sound condition.

Remove mildew, oil, dust, dirt, loose rust, peeling paint or other contamination to ensure good adhesion.

No exterior painting should be done immediately after a rain, during foggy weather, when rain is predicted, or when the temperature is below 50°F - unless the coating indicates it can be used down to 35°F. Most coatings are now formulated for low temperature use

2nd Step: Basic Application

Apply one coat of Primer, allowing 1 - 3 hours to dry depending on conditions

3rd Step.: Top coating

Follow the basic application, apply the final coat 2~3 layers

Allow each coat to dry thoroughly, approx. 1 - 3 hours, before applying the next.
Spread the paint as evenly as possible, alternating the direction of brush strokes with each coat.
Each coat will be easier to apply than the last.

4th Step.: Allow the Paint dry for one day
The paint will need at last one day for dry for the top coating or texture coating.

Remove all loose, peeling paint. Power wash to remove chalk.
Remove dirt and grease with a concrete & masonry degreaser & cleaner product.
Remove mildew stains with a mildew stain removing product.
Sand patched or rough surfaces smooth by use 120-grit sandpaper.
