“ELC270TM” OF FIRING SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION

 

Model ELC270TM carries 9 junction boxes –30 channels by each box. Each channel can support the firing /discharging of 20 electrical matches at on go. The model comes with 300 M lead cables, comes with time which can time separately & accumulative total.

 

1. Connecting;

a.    Connect the connector plugs of firing system to the alternating current supply point.

b.    Turn on the ON / OFF switch,

c.    The indicator light bulb will indicate that the supply is serving the console,

d.    Voltage Meter on console will indicate the voltage as supplied into the console unit.

NB:- This show that the unit is functionally /operational mode and ready for use.

 

2. Testing;

 

a.    Ensure that the junction box / boxes and products are correctly connected.

b.    Turn the switch to “test” position. For example, test of the first 8 channel of the first district.

c.    Turn the selecting switch of first district to A, and turn log off the other two districts.

d.  Turn the selecting switch of to A, and turn logoff the other segments.

d.    “Press” / “Activate” the 8^th push switch,

e.    “ when console is switch to test mode’ a red indicating light show up, if the indicator brighten up, this is indicating that the products correctly connected and is ready for the actual discharge when required.

f.     Repeat this steps for “testing” of all other channels and connection.

 

3. Fire;

 

a, The same way as per the testing for continuity and products during the test steps, ENSURE that the switch is on “fire” position / mode.

 

b, if you wish to discharge several groups at the same time; just connect the products to the same Channels but different junction box / boxes.

 

4. Cautionary Advice;

 

a.    As the CONSOLE is powered by alternating electrical supply, short circuitry from outside / near the console may caused damages to the console unit and other connection link to the unit.

 

 

b.    Is best to connect products supplied from the same factory when a SERIES sequence of discharge is required. This is due to the products were manufactured using only a similar resistively of ignition. Different factory might be using different specification of resistance bridge wires.

 

c.    this could and would affect each Channel’s ignite quantity directly for the differences due to discharging of different products. Example will be (i) the resistence of lines - product, (ii) and the distance of circuitry;

 

d.    When products are connected to the junction box back to the console unit, when switching on “test” position, if the indicator light does not brighten up when the “fire buttons on machine and remote are ACTIVATED”.

 

NB:- That show that this group / cue has some problem “stop”  using this connection. (It won’t affect other groups on the same junction box).

 

e.    When connecting the circuit “The Console is to be on the OFF POSITION, no requirement to switch it “ON” at this stage.

 

NB:- Do Not shake machine violently;

 

f. Don’t press / activate the “FIRE” button after disconnecting the power source - electrical outlet, there might be sufficient electrical charge / power may and would ignite / activate the products;

 

NB:- Don’t place the product in the damp, acid base, alkali and contaminated environment.
