Brief Introduction:
Since the positive pressure air breathing apparatuses cover a series of products, (including RHZKF-6.8/30, RHZKF-4.7/30, RHZKF-2/30, RHZKF-3/30, RHZKF-9/30, RHZKF-6.8/30-2,RHZKF-4.7/30-2, RHZKF-3/30Z Fire commander breathing apparatus, RHZKF-2/30T EEBD emergency escape breathing apparatus) that share similar structure, therefore the illustration only shows the below model.
Product Performance Description:
Positive pressure air breathing apparatus series can provide wide respiratory protection according to the needs of users by assembling different standard parts.
The specification of serial products is related to the following aspects:
·Volume of air cylinder (2L, 3L, 4.7L, 4.7Lx2, 6.8L, 6.8Lx2, 9L, etc.)
·Cylinder Quantity (one or two)
·Full Face Mask (Full face mask accorded with CE standards)
·Demand valve (Demand valve accorded with CEstandards)
The positive pressure air breathing apparatuses of each specification shall pass the qualification check by
the general breathing apparatus inspector in accordance with CE/GA124-2004 standards.
The two standard parts, full face mask and demand valve are assembled as shown in the below diagram (please refer to the below illustration):

Pressure Reducer:
The function of pressure reducer is to reduce the high-pressured air in the air cylinder to be (7±2.5)bar which is the proper functioning pressure of demand valve. No matter how the air pressure in the air cylinder and breathing frequency of users change, pressure reducer always has a stable pressure output.
The main parts jointed with pressure reducer:
·One or two air cylinders
·Medium pressure hose transmitting air to demand valve
·High pressure hose connected with pressure gauge
Pressure Indicator and Alarming Device:
The pressure indicator is specified by scale ranged between(0~400)bar, it is connected with the Reducer through a high pressure hose. The display panel is made of fluorescent material, which enables user to read the figure in darkness. The gauge surface is made of shock-resistant material, protected by rubber cover, waterproof, and dustproof. The high pressure hose is equipped with flow limit device, thus when the pressure gauge is separated from the high pressure hose, the air leaking volume should be no more than 25L/Min while the cylinder pressure is at 200bar.
The alarming device is on the high pressure hose near the pressure indicator. When cylinder pressure is below(55±5)bar, the whistle will make about continuous 90d B(A) of noise. Working hours last another 3-5 minutes after warning, if we assume the alarming pressure at 5bar, cylinder volume 3L, user average exhalation at 30L/min, it differs according to cylinder volume at the same time. Under such conditions, user must quit from dangerous place after hearing the alarm and is only allowed to continue to work after replacing with a new cylinder. The Warning Device is fixed on the high pressure pipe near the pressure gauge. When the cylinder pressure reduces to (55±5) bar, warning whistle will produce the continuous sounds over 90d B(A). If the calculation is made according to the warning pressure value of 5 bar, air cylinder volume of 3 L and users’ average gas consumption of 30 L/min, it can be used about 3-5 minutes after the warning and the using time of different cylinder volume differs after the warning. Therefore, users shall evacuate from the site after hearing the alarm and can continue to work after changing air cylinder.
Backboard Components:
The medium pressure hose adopts the flame resistant and pressure resistant rubber air-guide tube in accordance with the requirements of CE/GA124-2004 standards.
The medium pressure hose connects with demand valve at one side and the output end of the pressure reducer at the other side and possesses a pair of quick connectors in middle to provide convenience for connecting and disconnecting demand valve.
Air Cylinder
The air cylinder is made of high-strength aluminum alloy inner and fully wrapping carbon fiber composite material with high strength and light weight.
Working Time:
The working time of this breathing apparatus depends on compressed air volume and gas consumption of users. The gas consumption depends on the work of users.

Respirable Air Volume in the Air Cylinder:
Users can get this numerical value by multiplying the air cylinder volume with working pressure.
For example: The air volume of 3L air cylinder with 30 bar working pressure is 3×30×10=900 L.
When users take medium-strength work, the theoretic service time of this air cylinder should be

Air Consumption (L/min) 30
This calculating method does not take the purity of air into consideration and needs adding a coefficient of 0.9 to correct. The actual air volume in the air cylinder should be: 900×0.9=810 L, and thus the actual service life should be 27 minutes.
Users can roughly calculate the left service time before use or in use.
The theoretic service time of air cylinders with different volumes can be calculated according to the above calculating method.
