IDD-213GL is a quad-band GSM, 3-axis accelerometer and OBD module integrated Car OBD GPS Tracker for 9-36V vehicles. It could read OBD parameters from car ECU and capture GPS data then transmit to the backend server for remote diagnostic and tracking purpose.

1. What is OBD&OBDII?
OBD is On board diagnostics, an automotive term referring to a vehicle's self-diagnostic and reporting capability. OBD systems give the vehicle owner or repair technician access to the status of the various vehicle sub-systems, provide real-time data, specailly a standardized series of diagnostic trouble code and allow one to rapidly identify the vehicle malfunctions.

OBD II is an improvement over OBD-I in both capability and standardization.

The OBD-II standard specifies the type of diagnostic connector and its pinout, the electrical signalling protocols available, and the messaging format. It also provides a candidate list of vehicle parameters to monitor along with how to encode the data for each.

2. What is the OBD GPS Tracker?

3. Do all cars support OBD II protocol?
Normally, the car which manufacturered in US after 1998 or in Europe after 2002 or in Asia after 2003 are compatible with OBD II protocol. 

4.How does the device work?
Just configure the software PI, Port,APN by USB cable, then plug the device into car OBD II plug it will work. 

5. What is the Frequency of GSM and 3G?
GSM Frequency: 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA Frequency:800/850/900/2100(Europe),800/850/1700/1900(North America)

6. Does your tracker have SMS alerts?
Yes, the device support SMS alerts to user phone. 

7. Which standard protocol your device support?
It support both OBD II standard protocol and J1939,J1708 commercial vehicle protocol.

8.Do you have web tracking software or smartphone APP? 
Yes, both PC and Smartphone software are available for tracking. 

9. What is the difference between 213GL, IDD-213E and IDD-213N?
IDD-213GL use 2G GSM network, IDD-213E&IDD-213N use 3G network, 213E is for Europe and Asia market,213N is for North America market.
