The Machiene Part
Pretreatment and prepressing section is a very important section before extraction.It will directly affect extraction effect. The set of pretreatment and prepressing equipment includes cleaning,crushing,germ pressing,softening and prepressing sections and so on.
Cleaning
Four parts :Screening ,winnowing ,magnetic separation and gravity separation.
Cleaning index:
Peanut and soybean the amount of impurity ≤0.1%
Cottonseed rapeseed sesame seed the amount of impurity≤0.1%
Peanut soybean cottonseed rapeseed sesame the good sesame content in the waste≤1.5%
The reason for cleaning:
To improve oil yeild, get better colour, reduce sediment and improve the meal quality
Shelling
The reason why the oil seed need to be husked and kernel husk separation:
Because the husk will adsorb oil make the oil deep colour and lustre, contain much wax
husk methods:friction grind, impact,cut,extrusion
kernel husk separation:mainly screening and winnowing
Oil seed crack and conditioning
Cracking:make the oil seed particle size small under the mechanical forces
Requirement:Uniform particle size, no oil out,no lump,less powder,as to peanut and soybean, make
into 6-8petals is ok.the length of the pre-pressed cake particle is 6-10 is good generally used the roll crusher ,hammer crusher, disc huller.
Conditioning:
Adjusting the moisture and temperature , so that increase the oilseed plasticity, mainly used in low oil content and low moisture oil.
Two methods in conditioning :
heating watering and heating anhydrating
Conditioning aiming to:adjusting the moisture and temperature , so that increase the oilseed plasticity,reduce powder when flaking and sticky roller, in order to ensure the quality of the flakes. conditioning can also reduce the vibration of the machine when flaking roll wear, in order to facilitate the flaking operate normally.
Condition temperature:65°Cor so, time:≥20min
Flaking
It refers to the process that make the oil seed change into flakes from particle.
The oil sheet after flaking is called flakes , after cooking,it becomes cooked flakes,
The fuel cell wall damaged, then shorten the oil discharged from the oil seed away.
Flaking requirements:
The thickness is uniform, moderate size, no out oil, less powder, and with a certain
degree of mechanical strength.
Flakes thickness requirements:
Soybean 0.3 mm, cottonseed O.4 mm, rapeseed 0.35 mm, peanut 0.5mm.
The powder quantity requirements:
The power is not more than 3% through a 20 mesh sieve
Flaking roll:
Three roller, five roller,single roller, double roller and Hydraulic tight rolling flaking roll.
Oil seed flakes extrusion puffing
It refers to the process that make the flakes into puffing particles with the extrusion puffing
equipment. After the flakes extrusion and puffing, the oil can be directly made through leaching.
This process largely trends to replace direct extraction and pre-processing extraction.
Extrusion and puffing aim to:
After the flakes extrusion, bulk density increase, porosity increase, fuel cells and tissues are completely destroyed, enzymes are passivated.
Oil seed flakes cooking
It refers to the process that the flakes become cooked flakes through the moist, heated, steam, cooked.cook aim to make the protein heated,then denatured,and then agglomeration. Increase the permeability of the cell wall, then the oil is easy to outflow; to gather the small oil drop into big oil drop.Reduce the viscosity of the oil to make it easy to flow
Cooking requirements: flakes should be cooked evenly, internal and external are consistent, cooked flakes' moisture, temperature and structured have to meet the oil making requirements.
wet cooking (moisture:more than 12% water), dry cooking.
