1. Spray a liberal amount of this remover to the area covered in pitch
2. Rub the sprayed area until the pitch begins to break up and dissolve. It may require several attempts if the sap is very thick or extremely hard
3. Wash the area with soap and water using a sponge
4. Rinse the area clean, and dry it with a lint-free towel
