For this reason, all the Ciao lighters are ISO 9994 certified, which defines their safety and quality specifications to protect consumers worldwide. Some of the most important specifications are that the flame height must not exceed 12 cm; the lighters must be fall resistant, they must maintain the internal pressure of the gas; must be able to withstand a temperature of 50°; and finally, if inclined at 45°, the flame should go upward. The Ciao lighters meet all these requirements plus other legal provisions.
