Product Description

  WVD-130x wireless vehicle detection sensor is designed for pursuit of high efficiency and low cost ITS traffic application systems. Based on technology of magnetic detection and uPower® wireless sensor network, WVD -130x sensors can be easily installed on road in few minutes without any wiring to acquire dynamic traffic flow information with no maintenance for many years.

WAP-130x Wireless Access Point acts as a gateway between user applications and wireless vehicle detection network formed among the WVD sensors installed on the road surface. WAP-348x manages the network and collects data from all the sensors, and on the other hand, provides data interface to user traffic systems.

How does it work?

By capture the tiny change of magnetism caused by the passing vehicle,Wireless Vehicle Detector (WVD)will send all of information on it to the access point, and then the access point aggregates the data from individual sensors and can report key traffic parameters includingthe vehicle velocity, length, type and occupy rate to the user systems through RS-232/485, Internet, GPRS, etc.

Installation

  In the application of traffic signal controlling, traffic flow monitoring, traffic guiding, speed enforcement and red light enforcement, the installing place of the wireless vehicle detector (WVD) is the same as loops.

The installation for WVD includes 3 steps:


1. Drill a hole of 12cm diameters/10cm height
2.Fill it with cement to 1/2
3.Embedded the WVD and finish the installation
