ROSIM manufacture the traffic detector using magnetic and wireless zigbee networks technology, The Wireless magnetic traffic Detector (WVD) is based on magnetic, short range RF and nano power communication protocol technology. It is installed onto the road surface to collects the data of traffic flow, direction, speed, quantity and forward this data to Wireless Access Point (WAP), which acts as a wireless gateway between the wireless vehicle detection system and other traffic application systems. All the WVDs, under the management of WAP, establish a local wireless sensor network, which collects traffic information real timely. WVD and WAP will worked with the adaptive traffic controller and to realize the application.

Wireless Access Point (WAP-348X) is used to collect real-time traffic information from Wireless traffic Detector (WVD) installed on the road, and transmit to host application systems. The WAP-348X, acting as a gateway between this wireless sensor network and user system, provides system integrators a variety of data communication interface. Besides of this, WAP-348X is responsible for the wireless network management and transmits commands between host platform and WVDs. And also, the WAP-348X runs the system algorithm and outputs adaptive traffic controller according to different applications. 

WAP installation:  One Access Point have 48 channels, and have corresponding light indicator on the panel; Access point installed in the existing frastructure like traffic controller cabinet; antenna installed on the pole with the height of 6m.

How does it work?

By capture the tiny change of magnetism caused by the passing vehicle,Wireless Vehicle Detector (WVD)will send all of information on it to the access point, and then the access point aggregates the data from individual sensors and can report key traffic parameters includingthe vehicle velocity, length, type and occupy rate to the user systems through RS-232/485, Internet, GPRS, etc.

 WVD Installation: Flush mount round shap,drill a round hole, fill with normal cement(cost saved).
