How To Install Your Blinds:

1.Make sure it fits. Place a ladder below the window where you intend to install blinds. Climb the ladder and hold the shade up in the window with one hand to make sure it will fit properly before you install the brackets.

2.Make sure it's level. Hold a level inside the top lip of the window frame to assure that the window opening is square. As long as the opening is nearly level, you can simply mount the brackets along this lip. If the window is not square, adjust the placement of the brackets slightly so the blinds hang straight and disguise the flaw.

3.Mark the spot. Hold the brackets up one at a time in the corner of the window frame, marking the holes with a pencil.

4.Pre-drill holes. Use the drill to pre-drill a small hole in the spots you marked with a pencil. Some window frames have a metal casing, so use a sharp bit. Place the bracket so that it lines up with the holes and insert the screws through the pre-drilled holes.

5.Attach the shades. Attach the blind or shade to the brackets with the supplied hardware. Some shades just slip right into the brackets, while some types need to be placed in the bracket and held in place with nuts or other hardware.

6Check your work. Test the blind or shade to see that it works properly, and then adjust it to allow in as much light as you desire

7.Warning:If you have small children in your home, use a safety device designed to keep the cord from the window treatment up where they cannot get to it. Cords can be a strangulation hazard.

Special cleaning instructions: Unsnap the fabric from the vanes and place in wash. Use the gentle cycle, warm water and Woolite^® Fine Fabric Wash or other mild laundry detergent. Do not use chlorine bleach. Line dry fabric. Do not put fabric in dryer! If necessary, steam or iron at a low temperature before putting fabric back on vane. *Snap fabric back onto the vinyl vanes.
Recommended Cleaning Methods: Dusting: To maintain a like-new appearance, dust lightly and regularly with a feather duster. Vacuuming: For deeper cleaning, lightly vacuum with the upholstery attachment of any vacuum cleaner. Soil Removal & Spot Cleaning: Spot clean with a soft cloth or sponge, a mild detergent and warm water. Blot gently and allow to dry completely. Be careful not to crush or wrinkle fabric shades. Water Immersible: Able to be immersed in water. *Warning: Do not use strong detergents or spot removers. Dry cleaning window treatments is not recommended.
