Description 

pipe wrap tape is a synthetic rubberbased material extruded into a soft permanently 

elastic strip, available in a roll form. The tape possesses high levels of surface tack

 and performs at a wide range of temperatures.

1. Adhesive: Inner layer of Butyl rubber. 
2. Backing: Outer layer of Polyethylene (PE) Plastic. 

3. Structure:Primer Inner wrap tape+outer wraptape

Usage 

l Provides long-term corrosion protection to steel pipelines.

l Repair of damaged factory applied corrosion protection and waterproof

l Outlining weld beads and cut backs prior to wrapping bare-welded joints.

l Outlining seams on spiral and seam welded pipe.

l Primerless mastic tape readily conformable to odd-shaped pipe fittings,

 valves, flanges and other buried structures
