Hot Needle Perforation Machine

Introduction

Materials like film, foils, foams, paper and laminates are often used for packaging material where ventilation holes are necessary. Microperforation is applied with needle- and micro-perforating cylinders, hot or cold, depending on the material. A perforating density of 100 holes/cm2 can be achieved. In addition to the packaging industry needle units can be used for applications in the hygiene and filter industry as well as for synthetic leather in the automotive and furniture industry.

Fast hole-pattern change

The simple fitting and removal of the needle-roller, combined with the modular construction of the needle-carrying segments, makes it possible to change the perforation pattern extremely quickly, and , if wished, combine several patterns onto one web. The needle depth is adjustable, and held constant, by means of an electronica control system, and a digital didplay indicated the exact depth of perforation.
