1.  Specification:   barium chloride dihydrate   Molecular Formula: BaCl₂•2H₂O  

Property:   White crystal containing two crystal water. Lose two crystal water at exceeding 113ºC bitter taste noxious, soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether.
