1. Physical & Chemical Properties:

     Under normal temperature, it's in white,fine powder, smoothly feeling , insoluble in water and some organic solvent such as alcohol ,ether and benzene, but soluble in heated alcohol, benzene and so on. if up to 400℃ or mixed with strong mineral acids, it 's decomposed into stearic acid and calcium salts.It ,accordingly, has a typical characteristic, moisture absorption.
